There is one individual assignment and one group assignment for this module. The individual assignment is an essay and is worth 70% of the module grade. The group assignment is worth 30% of the module grade and requires you to develop organisational policies, and to contribute to the discussion boards on the module blog. Full details will be issued as per the schedule.

- Beryl Burns
- Dr Beryl Burns is a part time lecturer and researcher in the Informatics Research Institute (IRIS) - a 6* RAE rated Research Institute, Salford Business School, University of Salford. The Research Institute is concerned with sociotechnical nature of work organisations and society. She worked for twelve years as a computer engineer in public sector primary, secondary and special needs schools providing expertise in IT/ICT support and computer maintenance. She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Technology and a PhD in Information Systems. She has several academic conference, journal and ESF project final report publications.
